Comparing and Evaluating Poverty Reduction Approaches
For USAID's Policy and Program Coordination Bureau, AIRD conducted an evaluation of conceptual distinctions between the evolving poverty reduction paradigm promulgated by the international development community and USAID's broad-based approach to sustainable development.
The study compared poverty reduction experiences of Bangladesh, Indonesia, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Peru, Mali, Uganda, Morocco, and carried out field evaluations in Mali, Uganda, and Romania. (2000-2003)
