Electricity Economic Impact Case Studies (USAID/WARP)
Economist Dan Plunkett developed electric power demand parameters for Mali, Ghana, Benin on the costs and benefits of interconnection of national electricity grids with those of neighboring countries in order to permit gains in reliability through trade. This project is complementary to the EAGER/Trade project on analyzing and guiding regional integration in electricity in the context of creation of an ECOWAS-wide power pool. (2000-2001)
