Expanding Morocco’s Poultry Sector
Strategy prepared for U.S. Grains Council
AIRD contributed to the preparation of economic and technical analysis of constraints to expanding industrial broiler production in Morocco. Analysis focused on import tariffs on maize, and food safety issues in the processing chain. Recommendations were made to the Federation Interprofessionnelle du Secteur Avicole, a poultry sector professional association, regarding strategic initiatives. (2000-2001)
